Hello!

I'm Sunny Yu, a third year Industrial Design student at Carleton University in Canada. 

I have a passion for designing products and sketching since I was young. Having lived in Anshan (China), Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal have broadened my knowledge of the product market, manufacturing technologies and gave me an international perspective on product design and development.

Having 9 years of experience in Visual Arts, I have solid knowledge of form and color, drawing skills, eye for layout.

My beliefs of a "good" product has to be both aesthetically pleasing and functional. Multi-functional, designing products to help users in need. I am achieving to combine user experience with product design to develop user-centered products. 

Working in user experience design has opened broad extent of industrial design's applications to design systems and online "products" while considering usability principles in testing, prototyping and refining design.
